Virtual Tech Gurus Sponsors Defenders of Freedom Golf Outing

VTG actively supports our military and this year we were invited to sponsor a hole at the Defenders of Freedom annual Golf Outing. Over the last 16 years, the golf outing has been their largest fundraising event. VTG is honored to be a part of this organization and looks forward to next year.

Defenders of Freedom’s primary goals are to provide care and transitional support for our Troops and Veterans, assistance with basic living necessities through short-term emergency financial support, address imminent physical and mental health issues, improve morale, keep Veterans engaged in a supportive community, and to provide access to Veterans with TBI to a comprehensive treatment protocol.

17th Annual Golf Outing at the Golf Clubs at The Tribute

Golfers got an opportunity to engage with Veterans uniquely. By spending a day together, golfers could hear Veterans share their stories and how TBI has impacted, caused struggles, or prohibited them from moving forward. In addition, veterans could thank supporters for their support in funding treatments for TBI. The comprehensive program for treating TBI has changed lives thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters. The event concluded on May 23rd.

We sponsored $3000 to Tamil Nadu Foundation USA for the deprived.

TNF’s mission is to empower the underserved in Tamil Nadu (India) through Education, Women’s Empowerment, Rural Development, and Health & Hygiene by enriching their educational, social, economic, and cultural status.

Fundraising and support generated from the funds will help expand and sustain TNF’s educational and humanitarian projects in different districts. Tamil Nadu Foundation is a non-profit foundation created in 1974 by a group of Americans of Tamil origin who wanted to help people from their native province of Tamil Nadu in India.

The purpose of the foundation is to establish education scholarships to provide technical journals, textbooks, and equipment to learning/health care institutions, to provide proper assistance in times of emergency, and act on any worthy cause affecting Tamil Nadu. We look to gather support and help for the TNF Mission to help the needy.
